Every assistant is a registered nurse, a licensed healthcare professional, or a healthcare graduate, and completes more than 60 hours of eye care training before placement. HIPAA, vision and medical insurance, terminology, recalls, Eyefinity, RevolutionEHR, billing and claims, and ophthalmic scribing, ending in a final assessment.
The effect shows up in week one. Your assistant already knows why a routine exam and a medical visit bill differently, how to verify a vision plan and medical eligibility for the same patient, and what OD, OS and IOP mean in a chart note. Your team teaches them your practice, not the specialty.
